Abstract


Penciptaan seni fotografi dengan judul “Representasi Fase Hubungan Asmara melalui Fotografi Ekspresi” ini menggambarkan distorsi memori yang dialami menggunakan teknik bleaching sebagai teknik eksperimentasi. Penciptaan karya ini didorong atas kesadaran akan distorsi memori yang terjadi terhadap pengalaman pribadi saat menjalani hubungan asmara untuk kali pertama. Eksperimentasi dalam penciptaan ini dilakukan dengan interaksi antara kertas foto dan larutan kimiawi bersifat basa, hasilnya adalah efek-efek lelehan yang timbul secara organik dan tidak dapat direncanakan dalam cetakan foto. Efek tersebut dimaksudkan sebagai penggambaran distorsi dari memori-memori lampau. Perwujudan karya dilakukan berdasarkan eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan yang meliputi pemotretan dan eksperimentasi. Metode yang dilakukan meliputi tiga tahap dalam penciptaan seni, yaitu eksplorasi, perancangan, dan perwujudan dalam segi teknikal. Hasil dari penciptaan karya fotografi ini berupa penggambaran fragmen-fragmen memori dengan efek-efek lelehan yang tercipta dari proses eksperimentasi.


Representation of a Romantic Relationship Phase through Fine Art Photography. This creation of photography art entitled “Representation of a Romantic Relationship Phase through Fine Art Photography” depicts memory distortion experienced using bleaching as an experimentation technique. The creation of this work was driven by an awareness of the memory distortions that occur in personal experiences when undergoing a romantic relationship for the first time. Experimentation in this work involves the interaction between photographic paper and chemical solution, resulting in organic and unplanned melt effects on the photographic prints. The effect is intended as a distorted depiction of memories. The realization of the work was based on exploration, design, and completion, including photoshoots and experimentation. There methods covered three stages of art creation, namely exploration, planning, and technical materialization. The result of the creation of this photography work was a depiction of memory fragments with melt effects created from the experimentation process.
