Musik “Sparkle”: Konstruksi Karya Grup Musik Radwimps pada Film Animasi Jepang “Kimi No Na Wa”

Abstract


Film animasi Jepang “Kimi no Na Wa” dan lagu berjudul “Sparkle" yang menjadi musik ilustrasi atau musik pengiring pada film ini sangatlah terkenal di kalangan pecinta film animasi Jepang. Dimana sejak film tersebut dirilis pada tahun 2016 bahkan hingga saat ini, film ini masih termasuk dalam daftar Top 10 Most Popular Anime yang menduduki posisi sepuluh, juga menduduki posisi empat dalam daftar Top Anime Movies dengan rating 8.91 bintang pada situs database dan komunitas anime terbesar di dunia, myanimelist. Penelitian ini difokuskan kepada analisis bentuk musik ilustrasi “Sparkle” dan fungsi musik ilustrasi ini pada adegan inti film “Kimi no Na wa” pada durasi 1:25:01. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk dan fungsi dari musik ilustrasi “Sparkle” yang mengiringi suatu adegan inti pada film tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan musikologi. Lingkup kajian dari penelitian difokuskan pada bentuk dan fungsi musik ilustrasi “Sparkle” pada film animasi Jepang berjudul “Kimi no Na wa” karya grup musik Radwimps. Data yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan dokumentasi.

Abstract

Music for "Sparkle": Construction by Radwimps on Japanese Animated Film "Kimi No Na Wa". The Japanese animated film "Kimi no Na Wa" and the song "Sparkle", which serves as the accompanying music or music for this film, are viral among Japanese animation film lovers. Since the film was released in 2016, even today, this film is still included in the list of Top 10 Most Popular Anime, which occupies the tenth position, also occupies the fourth position in the list of Top Anime Movies with a rating of 8.91 stars on the largest anime database and community site in the world, minimalist. This research focuses on the analysis of the form of the illustration music "Sparkle" and the function of this illustration music in the main scene of the film "Kimi no Na wa" at 1:25:01. The purpose of this research is to identify the form, function, and atmosphere of the musical illustration "Sparkle" which accompanies a core scene in the film. This study used a qualitative descriptive research method with a musicological approach. The scope of study of this research is focused on the form and function of the musical illustration “Sparkle” in the Japanese animation film “Kimi no Na wa” by the band Radwimps. The data obtained in this study were obtained through observation and documentation.
