Abstract

Facial animation is an important role in bringing the existence of the 3D virtual character. Process of making facial animation take a long time even for professional animator due the complexity of the human face itself. One of the techniques to make facial animation considered effective in terms of speed of production is the using repeatedly facial animation (retargetting). This technique carries the facial motion capture data usage which is then transformed through the transformation of the space-based radial basis function. Generated 3D virtual character can visualizing facial expression corresponding to the expression of a human face by having an average deviation value of 0.0034.
