Pembelajaran Game Desain dalam Desain Komunikasi Visual

Abstract


This paper is an attempt to place Game Design Elective Courses in the Visual Communication Design Study Program, especially Visual Communication Design ISI Yogyakarta. The placement includes what the position or relationship of game design with visual communication design looks like. Efforts to find a way to place it through observing Game Design learning archives, observing game design in (print) media. From both of them, try to make a table of placement or relationship between game design and visual communication design. The game in this paper is placed not as a goal but a tool, and it is precisely as a tool that game design is close to visual communication design, namely as a medium for delivering messages, as a means and not as an end. In short, game design as a medium of visual communication.
